Public Hearing regarding Pioneer Road Bridge
The Illinois Department of Transportation is holding a public hearing to discuss a proposed project to remove the Pioneer Road bridge. It is part of a larger project to improve Interstate 80 from just east of the Seneca interchange to west of Illinois 47 (approximately 6.5 miles) in Grundy County.
The public hearing will be held from 4 to 6 PM at Nettle Creek School. The meeting will present the results of a Phase I engineering study.
