The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) is the state assessment and accountability measure for Illinois students enrolled in a public school district. IAR assesses the Illinois Learning Standards incorporating the Common Core and will be administered in English language arts and mathematics to all students in grades 3-8. 75% of the school's state report score is based on IAR testing.
Nettle Creek students in 3rd and 4th grade will be testing Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25. Before testing, we encourage students to do the following:
Charge their Chromebook at home the night
Turn off all electronics at least 30 minutes before bedtime
Get 8 hours of sleep
Eat a healthy breakfast
Wear comfy clothes
