Reminder: tomorrow all students will have Spring Photos and all Extra Curricular photos will take place at 9:45 AM. Scholastic Bowl, Girls Volleyball, and Boys Volleyball team members need to bring their uniforms to school that day. Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, and Track uniforms will be passed out that day. Speech participants, Student Council Officers, Cross Country, Golf, and Westling should wear NC spirit wear if they have it. Order forms were sent home last week. Also, there is still time to order your yearbook for the 2025-2026 school year! Paper orders will be accepted in the office through Tuesday, March 17th. Thursday, March 19, 2026, the Nettle Creek School students and staff will be attending Coal City Theatre Department’s production of Frozen. The Nettle Creek PTO has graciously purchased student tickets for the musical. Please look for a blue flyer coming home today with your child. Within the flyer is information regarding lunch. Students may purchase a lunch for $5 or bring their own lunch.

Exciting news from the PTO! We had several families submit extracurricular logos which were ultimately narrowed down and voted on by staff and students. This fox and logo will be used when PTO purchases items such as spirit wear, uniforms, a flag and tent, and various other items we fund. Thank you to all of our families who submitted logos. If you have a passion for education and are interested in serving our community, this could be a wonderful chance for you to get involved.

We are just 2 months away from our annual Wine and Stein fundraiser on March 7th, 2026. Our goal this year is to raise enough money to purchase a 10 passenger van for school, extracurricular, and athletic use. We believe this will be extremely beneficial and useful for students who participate in various classes, activities, and games that aren't located at the school.
The Wine & Stein website is ready for donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales. Please remember if you are donating any items, we would appreciate it if you submit them using the form online with the details including a name, photo, description, and price value.
